How to Get Your Poster Printed

Printing services at SMS are reserved for Academic Projects only. 
Student Multimedia Services will gladly support Oregon State University class assignments, conferences, or research projects. 

Free or low-cost personal design consultation and printing of posters for undergraduate students is available at Student Media Services (SMS) located in the Valley Library, Room 2035.

Student Media Services (SMS) Specifications:

  • Posters for CUE and SURS must be submitted 20 days before the date (April 29, 2022) of the event or a $50 rush fee may be added to print your poster.
  • CUE & SURS poster sizes are 48x36 and can be downloaded directly from OSU
  • Acceptable file formats: .PPT, .EXL, .DOC, .PSD, .INDD, .Al, .PDF, .JPG, or .TIF
  • Picture resolution must be at print size; pixilated pictures will not be printed.
  • Any logo used must be an official OSU graphic. You can request logo files from University Marketing.
  • Data should not be printed in green or red, which tends to be difficult to differentiate for those with color blindness. Shades of blue can also distort and print as purple.
